Ok so I talked to a friend today that I have not talked to in a couple months. Asked him how his tank is doing and about a chalice he got about 3 months ago was doing. It was a wild collected colony. About a salad plate size. It was doing good for about a month then it started dieing. Now half of it is gone. Well he gave it to me to see what I can do with it. So now comes the question. Do I cut off the dead skeleton or leave it. I don't care if the skeleton looks ugly. I am trying to save what is left and maybe get it to grow back. Will leaving the skeleton help it grow back or hurt it from growing back?
