Has anyone recently purchased product/products from SB Reef Lighting???

This is/was a company with great lights and have failed due to poor communication and transparency
It’s a lost cause trying to reach them

That’s what thought but I contacted them for (3) black box PCB upgrades and they answered me almost immediately. I’m just gun shy in placing an order.

Own 4 sb 18". Theyre the best blackbox leds on the market, at the best price on the market.
That being said, they do best in a hybrid setup with t5.
They do fine on their own.

How did you contact them? I have tried calling this number a few times but no one has picked up, 850-332-7197.

They changed ownership a little while back I ordered a bunch of the led boards to upgrade the viparspectra lights but that was when Mike still owned it. I have seen them post on Facebook a few times but I haven't ordered anything since they changed hands. Maybe post on their Facebook page & see if you get a response.

Got yeah, I'll try that again. I had tried messaging them though FB 6ish months ago and never got a response.

yeah that's right around when they changed owners, i had an issue with my order i was two boards short, couldn't get ahold of anyone till i contacted them through paypal, that got a quick response lol. not sure if customer service is any better with the new folks or not. the led boards have an excellent spectrum at a cheap price. I love the product, but the completely absent customer service has always been an issue. hopefully the new owners are more on top of it, time will tell.

I talked to Mike's wife a couple of weeks ago at there new store in Pensacola, FL. She told me the Chinese company that was building the lights, now have the rights to the lights. Mike only gets a small cut from when the Chinese sell the lights. Mike has opened a bigger store and is expanding in the coral business. Looks like he is basically through with lights.
