unfortunately the 50 cube is probably too small for any butterfly, i guess you could try a filefish? i personally think they're hideous, but aptasia is such an irritation it might be worth

i tried peppermint shrimp and ehh, not sure he does much

good job on going smoke free!

Not perfect, but not horrible. Just thought I would share a video of my view from my "office". We have been mandated to telework until further notice due to the Coranvirus.

Few additions today. Added a pistol shrimp, green slimer, green goni and a pink goni.

So neat seeing the shrimp and goby pair up already. I took several videos but I did not upload them to youtube but the shrimp is digging out a burrow and the goby and shrimp are already hanging out in and around the burrow.

Last pics for now. I love how my goby keeps watch now. It used to always be at the back of the tank hiding. This is the most I've seen it since it's been in the tank.

Ok guys, well I am about ready to give up and send my tank to another home. These pests (bubblle algae, hydroids, aiptasia) have spread like wildfire.

I just don't think I can even fathom what it will take to get my tank back on track. This tank is kicking my a** and I'm not sure where to from here!

One problem at a time, pick the pest that bothers you most and eliminate that first, it will take some time but you can beat it.

Trying to anyway. I posted it for sale on craigslist in April and the best offer I got was something who said they think they could scrape together $300. Another person said even less but they would take care of the fish better than their own children. Hope to be buying a house soon and want to get rid of this tank before then. I don't really enjoy it anymore. It has just become a pain to maintain. I'm over it, and at least now I know I do not want to build a house around an aquarium.

that's a bummer. if you part stuff out you could probably make more, seems people see what you're asking and divide it in half at least

i recently upgraded from the sca 50 and have been selling stuff and selling stuff just sucks. some guy offered me $100 for a basically new tunze 3155 lol

Well Reef2reef peeps,

I have sold the tank. Only got $1500 for everything but I'm happy with that. Just glad to have gotten rid of it before we buy a house. One less thing to worry about lol.

On another note I upgraded my truck to a 6.2L 10-speed 2020 Silverado RST Z71, All Star edition, Leather, Sunroof, Safety package, etc. Lol
