Oh it’s not just me. I had a ton of replies with orthere getting the same thing and yes he does it under the WTB post.

This seems to have been going on for a while. I posted about it in the R2R feedback section months ago and the responses I got from admins and moderates was akin to a shoulder shrug. Seems Reef2reef has no interest in controlling this nonsense on their platform. Hopefully no one actually gets scammed.

Yup, had the exact same message while looking for a WaterBox MarineX 35.1 but from a pseudo user called Robin170 trying to palm off a tank in other build thread owned by a different user. Use Been Verified to check the phone number and address and check the number of posts by the user contacting before buying anything. And trust your gut, if something doesn't feel right, it prob isn't and walk away.
