Scary worm, what is it?

My fiancé and I left for the holidays (about 2 1/2 weeks) and came back to find this really weird, thick white worm wriggling around on the floor of the aquarium. Granted, there’s a lot of algae build-up that’s being cleaned out today, but we’ve not seen anything like this worm before. Only other worm we have is a feather duster that is now perched on the back of one of our hermit crabs shells. But we like that guy so we left him on the shell lol. So does anyone know what this could be? Bad quality photo, but the worm has tiny black dots going down the side of it, long-ways.

Blurry pic but looks closely resembles a peanut worm.

Yeah my camera wouldn’t focus because of the house fixture in front of it, but we’ll be removing it to make sure! Just wanted to see if anyone could ID it

If peanut worm these are beneficial, they eat detritus and do not pose any danger to corals or fish

I'd also guess peanut worm. Catch it alive and put it in a container for a better pic- it may be something beneficial.

To be fair, the only time i ever saw the peanut worm in my tank, was at night or when my heater shorted out.

Honestly, he looked more like this when there was no GFCI to protect him.
