Scibond 16: how strong?

How strong scibond 16 is relative to a solvent weld, which I can't do since I don't have the equipment to cut/smooth the acrylic with sufficient precision?

Yeah, Scigrip. I don't know if I'm even going to be using it. I'm thinking of abandoning the original idea. It's more of an academic question.

the actual bonding strength itself is quite strong. but it’s only for certain applications, that’s why i asked.

If I were to use it, it would be acrylic to acrylic.

that would be an approved usage. it does not bond different plastics together.
