Scloy trouble

Okay so I bough my first scloy at a frag swap and I got it home it was doing good then it started puting out wight stuff and I heard the water got really cold he had them in cups no tanks so cold that have doomed it from the start? Heare is it now :(

I don't think the scoly being in the cup was its demise. If anything, corals transport a bit better colder rather than warmer. As long as it wasn't like freezing cold.

Wow that's rough. I would suggest low light low flow and maybe it will recover. I thought ours was bad when we saved it but man that just doesn't look good.
