scoly feeding

so i have had my scoly for 3-4 days now and it is not showing its feeding tents how long before it needs fed just put a few pellets on it but no response what so ever

I feed a finger nail portion of mysis shrimp every 3 days. You will see the response

shouldn't the scoly tell me that he is hungry by pretty much turning inside out?

that’s when they want to be fed anyway.

I agree w/ @ChiCity. If you have any reefroids or CoralFrenzy try adding it to your fish food when you feed your fish and see if its tentacles will come out. Currently my happy/ healthy scoly shows its tentacles every time I feed my fish. But my new scoly that someone fragged isnt too happy rn but only shows its tentacles at night. I try to feed my scoly 1-2 times a week. SInce I have started to feed them weekly the coloration has improved significantly!

is it night for me i have give it a few pellets its tentacles didnt come out but the pellets went in its mouth

scolys are always hungry. You can feed daily if you choose. I feed mine as stated above with mysis twice a week with a good portion. While they in feeding mode in the evening as with my tank and many others, they adapt to feeding schedule offered and Not just feed in the dark
