Hiya Folks...

I got a Bleeding Heart Scoly about 2 weeks ago. All was going well until 2 days ago, when I noticed it receding a bit, figured a hermit or snail disturbed it. Today I see some of the flesh breaking off

Checked all water parameters, all is within reasonable range. I have a mixed reef of LPS, softies and a few pieces of SPS. All is doing well. I changed out the carbon and GFO today; not sure if it'll help. I dipped the scoly in Revive for 5 minutes as well. I feed the tank with some home grown phyto once a week, otherwise it's just Hilari pellets. I do dose 5mL of Seachem Reef Plus twice a week.

I'm open to any other suggestions/advice at this point... Just afraid I'm too late.

Thanks all!

I would find a fellow reefer and let him hang on to it until you figure out your situation.

Thanks SS7, I may just do that this weekend.

Junior, possibly. I have a MP20 running in a BC29. How do I tell if it's still alive? Guess now I have to decide if I should move it to an area in the tank with less flow... or have a friend hold it in their tank.

Thanks.

Tragedy. It lasted about another 2 days after my post... rest became fish food.

Thanks for asking...
