Yes this is my only scoly, as far as parameters I added kalk to my ato a day or 2 before this happened and I think I may have added to much. My tank isn't heavily stocked with corals and doesn't require much dosing right now I usually mix 1 teaspoon per 4 gallons of top off.

P04 and n03 are both tested with Red Sea pro test kits. Only other algae present is the occasional glass dust every 4-5 days.

The tank is around 5 months old and I'm still finding my groove when it comes to nutrient export. I tried nopox and noticed a birdsnest bleach due to rapid nutrient reduction so I stopped dosing.

I should also note I have an open brain on the sand bed as well and that is still doing great and fully inflated.

I don't know. I guess just keep feeding it? late at night? :( Sometimes they just go south.

I'd like to see a picture of the tissue regression. I'm going to second the dip idea. I think I've read they like a little iodine in the dip too. Bacterial issues and all.

Today I pulled the scoly out and did an iodine dip for 30-35 minutes and cleaned off any dead tissue. Still not giving up on this guy and keeping my fingers crossed.
