Scoly super puffy after lighting and flow changes?

Hi all.

I'm hoping my scoly is just very happy.

Recently got a par meter and moved him to around 100 par, plus or minus 20.

He wasn't happy in medium flow, so now he is in low. I made these changes about a week ago. Ever since then he has been super poofy.

We also changed his over to reed roofs only. His feeders are always out during feeding and out at night. He ate every time on frozen food as well.

Any input is appreciated!

As a general rule I view super puffy as coral stretching for more light. Have you tried a higher light area to see if you get more normal polyp extension?

I will move it an inch or two further under direct light. I'll see how it does over the next few days and report back

The puffiness your experiencing is the coral being happy and fed. I would not move him at all, IMO it's not looking for more light.

Update:

Our scoly has been doing well. Although not flat and round like most. Ours is always bubbled and lifted. Loves to eat!
