Scooter blenny behavior

I added a small scooter blenny to my main display yesterday and he dove right into a live rock hole and I haven't seen him since. I've tried looking for him and he hasn't gone carpet surfing, so I'm curious if anyone else had one that hid for a few days before wandering out?

I had a wrasse hide for a day and a cleaner goby hide for a day or so after putting them in the tank, so I'm not overly concerned yet, but wondering about scooter blennies.

Took a few days for my scooter to show his face too. But once he got comfortable he was a pod eating rock climbing machine.
