Hey all. My LFS just got an order. I currently have a Scopas and would love to add another Tang. Would a Kole be okay??

I have a yellow eye Kole tang with 3 small purple tangs and a blue hippo all seem to be fine last 3 months the purples fought a little for first couple weeks but they have it worked out for now my tank is also a 150

Those two are compatible in a (6' hopefully) 150.

But...a single Zebrasoma genus tang can be pretty nasty. The usual tricks like an acclimation box and a mirror taped to the tank can help.

They also have a yellow tang... I could add them both. I just don't want to max out my tank with just tangs. Would putting two in the tank be better than just one?

The yellow may give angst to the scopas being form the same genus, I would be leary. The scopas is usually pretty chill and likely will be fine, I have a lone scopas.

I would say it should be fine, I have a scopas and a yellow scopas (don't ask, it didn't go well for the first few days but I can isolate fish easily due to the design of my tank), they are fine with my juvi convict and naso.
