Hello I have a Scopas tang but he won’t eat he sees the food but just goes straigh past it I tried feeding mysis brine and algae he might peck on the algae clip maybe once and he pecks on the rock sometimes

Do you know if/what it was eating before you got it?

I would keep trying different prepared foods. Frozen Mysis and spirulina brine. Flakes and pellets. Algae rubber banded to a rock is an old trick that is more 'normal' for them than a clip. If you have a local store that sells live brine, that is always accepted unless there's something wrong with the fish.

How long have had him, has he established a feeding routine. If it's a new addition or you've added a new addition, it could be internal parasites. Unless he is being bullied and is stressed, they are usually good eaters if healthy. Being grazers it is frequent that they can pick up internal parasites.
