Hello, I have a goblin popeye scorpionfish who has been glass surfing since yesterday (with breaks in between) he normally did this behavior only at night sometimes but he has now started to do it during the day as well. He basically goes against the glass swims for like 15 seconds then falls back down, he then waits for another 1-2 minutes then goes and swims once again, is this normal? He looks healthy, he has been eating well (I feed him guppies and neocaridina shrimp) and he would normally bury himself but he has stopped doing that since yesterday, no heavy breathing only his breathing gets quicker as he swims. There's a lionfish in the tank with him (zebra lionfish) who is acting normally perching around rocks and going for a swim every occasion, is there something I should do?

I also have corals in the tank and they are all doing fine, my LPS and softies are thriving.

Bump

Also a small update, he's still swimming against the glass but ate a molly yesterday. He only breathes quickly when he swims against the glass for a long period of time, other than that the breathing is normal. Lionfish still acting normal.

He's currently in the sand, not swimming currently. But I can attach a few pictures:

i hate to be that guy, but the tank may just be too small for him and he doesn’t realize there’s isn’t more space to swim
Oh, I will set up a 200 for them when the lionfish grows a little bit more but I did not think about that. Lion king did mention in one of his posts that they were rather active but I did not know that they needed more swimming space. I guess he has to wait a little while, thanks for the help.
