Looking for info and first hand experience on this item. They used to be very popular before everything went electronic.

Have no intention of running a controller, and want to run as few wavemakers/powerheads as possible. They are unsightly in the tank.

They work good when they work but the get clogged and stop working fairly quickly . I do believe the new version have a cap that you can take off to clean it . The original one didn’t . If you could find an ocean motion squirt you would be better off .

I have a 3/4" sqwd NIB.

the 3/4" version you can not disassemble and clean, worked well but robbed flow.
the 1" version is able to be disassembled and cleaned.

I have ran both 20 years ago and have toyed with putting this one on the next tank.
Just saying but I came across and picked up 2x 3/4" sea swirls recently- also cool old school reefing tech. Plan to plumb them into my tank here soon. Couldn't afford them 20 years ago but always wanted them
