I am switching from DE to SE to run Radiums, currently I have 2 250W Reef Optix III with a BlueWave 7 balast, so I just need to swap the reflectors and of course the bulbs.

The reflectors would be in a canopy to be built (would like to keep it under 24" tall), the tank is a standard 90 Gal 48"x18"x24".

I have been looking at the LumenMax Elites any one else have any recommendations.

Thanks
Matt

Lumenmax elites are the best from all the research I did. An added bonus is sunlight supply is a great company that makes quality stuff right here is the usa!

Are you guys recommending these because of the canopy height? The only thing is that I have heard is that these can produce a spotlight if not high enough.

luminbrights are a better choice imo and i own both and use both !!

Paul thanks. I just remember someone saying that the elites would need to be at 16" to get a 24"x24" spread, granted I don't need 24"x24" but it would be nice if I do upgrade in the future.
