Yep, it does look better and it does not appear to be bleached. So that is good!

I would personally be concerned about the trigger and puffer. I would not consider them to be "reef safe" aka, safe to keep with corals and invert's. Keep an eye out for them picking at/ eating the anemone.

I want to get rid of the triggerfish, he’s a dick, although I’ve never seen him pick on the anemones. He’s a bit bigger then anything else in the tank. The puffer is super chill he minds his own business.

Those lights are only 40 watts each. This is 80 watts total for the tank. The general rule of thumb in the hobby is 3-5 watts per gallon which makes those lights good for an 8 gallon tank.

And I think your tank is a bit bigger than that. ;)

Lets figure out what is wrong with your tank and get it stable before you add anything else. Also, always double check with R2R before you follow the LFS advice.

Little update.. found some old lights from a tank I had years ago in the basement. I surrounded the sea anemone with them and he seems to be doing a lot better.
He is attached to the rock now and looks healthier.

I still plan on upgrading the lighting this is just temporary.

Not sure if these are good, came with the tank 2 years ago.

Purchased three BTA's of sorts. All doing good. And have another 14-17 lost track of the ones I got with the tank I purchased for now. The previous owner ran a garbo light system. Bleached them all out and they where struggling. Again the purchased with soon to be old tank. But moving to a Radion XR30 Gen 4 they are almost all back and vibin real good. I have two that might not make it out of roughly 14-17 Nems. The three new nems all good. I'm running 79-80* temp wise and sal at 1.024 on the dot. Use a Tropic Marin hydrometer.

I say lighting is of big importance, but do not forget water flow also.

I don’t see any other inverts, some Alk numbers would be helpful, you’ve never put copper in the tank have you?

As others have said lighting upgrade would help tremendously, stay on top of your water parameters, and also I’d definitely add a wave maker. On a tank that size flow from the return pump is almost never enough. What’s your filtration like? Do you have any other inverts?

It isn't often you see something in your tank bounce back that quickly.

Still having trouble with getting him to attach to a rock or any surface, I did pick up a wave maker and pointed it somewhat towards him and he basically blew across the tank like a tumbleweed in the midwest.
His tentacle's are all out and full and he's open and bright with color but just wont attach to anything so he just gets pushed around by the clowns or wave maker.

Any suggestions on getting him to attach to something?

When it finds a spot it likes, it will attach. Just let it be.
