Hello all, I am looking into setting up a new tank specifically a nano tank I came across this company called Sea Cardinal. Their tanks seem well built and the amount of equipment you get for the price is something that has me very interested. I have also seen Hello Reef tanks but the Sea Cardinal tanks come with a protein skimmer and controllable DC return pump and wavemaker. Also they include an outlet bar, LED programmable light, mesh lid kit, and a heater. For the price you can get the tank and stand for cheaper then a hello reef kit. Has anyone heard of or tried a kit such as this one?

I have never heard of these tanks before.
Where are they made?
How much is it?

Not sure where they are made but the 22g kit is $355 and 15g kit is $315. Website says the are on sale now. The stands are made from aluminum and what looks like PC material or vinyl. 22g stand is $135 and 15g stand is $120. Seems like a good deal for all that is included.

I'm just curious to see how well those tanks hold up. $355 seems really cheap for a 22g aio tank

Happy to report that mine just arrived yesterday! I couldn't find any reviews other than their fb posts (I don't trust those). Pretty impressed with the tank itself. The stand.. meh, it'll do. The light seems really well built along with the return pump, wave maker, and heater. The protein skimmer, I guess we will see, but I don't have high hopes for it. Let me know if you have any questions about it! I just started my thread.

I stumbled across this thread looking to see reviews on the sea cardinal tanks. Curious how your tank is doing if you don't mind sharing.

I wish I had an update for you! I just got a chance to make water so it’s mixing now. Tank will be filled later today.

How is the sea cardinal holding up? Considering getting one. Thanks
Apologies for my lack of updates to everyone else. Long story short, I just haven’t had time to update on anything social media wise and kind of took a hiatus from online as much as I could. The tank is absolutely amazing! Most of my original complaints were all user error. Elliot was so kind to reach out to me personally and walk me through several things. The customer service aspect alone was worth it for me. He just recently launched a line of reef ready tanks as well that are pretty sweet! If you want any specifics just ask! I’m online a little bit here and there so if I don’t respond, I will eventually!!! 🤭😉
