This morning a problem.. I found it out of the pvc tube laying horizatonly in the middle of the tank(opened)
I placed it back up on the PVC and waiting for it to dig itsels again..
But I don't think that's a good news.. I cannot force it to stay where she is.If she is moving so she's not liking the way I placed it..
Any tips?
The problem is that the pvc is too long and while the coral is not fixed in the pvc it is impossible to lay her on the pvc so that she dig and stay there .
In the corner i placed it yesterday there was a live rock in front of the pvc where i succeeded to lay her on it while its digs
i also tried she just felt off the pvc diameter.
I will try again and let you know what happens
Thank you so much for helping me
Thank you so much Jordan! For this advice!! How didn't i think of doing this!
Probably I am not as smart as you lol
Thank you!
She is back in the tube,i will take time for her i guess to open again.. Cause i did over handle it this morning
I will keep you posted about its evolution but I replaced the PVC in the old place because the place where it was this morning was between 2 corals, the PVC doesn't suit there
Maybe she is looking for area with sand and not gravel?
I will try to grt the sand as soon as possible I don't want to keep stressing this animal
Sometimes getting others opinions is good. You're doing the right thing. I wish reef2 reef was available to me when I was a beginner at corals. I've made lots of mistakes with corals and learned from them. The best thing to do is observe them closely and place them where they open most. I've read the sea pen likes low flow.
I am a beginner my tank is only 8months old,i begun to add coral a month and a half ago only.
and without all Your help.. I would have turned down my reef lol
Thank you so much for being so generous and helping me jordan!
Your advice is working perfectly! It is very stable in the pvc tube,I just need to forget about it for a few hours and hope that she will burry itself again!
Yeah exactly! I feel like i am irritating them when i handle them.. But all the coral I have I manipulate them by holding them by their live rock
The problem with the sea pen is that it is naked you cannot move it unless you handle it by its body :/
