i was feeding tonight and noticed a baby sea serpent out not moving. I looked in the back of the tank and noticed a second one also has died. Everything else looked good

I checked my specific gravity and it was a little high at 1.027. But phos and trates were low. Not sure what caused it?

Assure your nitrate--temperature has not become elevated. I dont see damage to say its a predator and these are more forgiving opposed to other stars which is strange.
They do best at salinity (of 1.024) and your elevated level may have done it

They look pretty good here, no lost legs or anything, no movement if you prod them?

Yes I did. No movement. I put them in my feeding container for observation. They seemed stiff when I took them out.

trates at 5
phos at .19

I'm bummed because they always had the legs out grabbing for food. I did do a water change yesterday.
