Sea urchin eating bubble algae?

I was wondering if sea urchins eat bubble algae. I'm pretty sure they don't, but they look cool and have a little issue with bubble algae. Just wondering what everyone else thinks about them. If I were to get one, it would probably be a tuxedo or pincushion urchin.

I figured they only eat Coraline and hair algae just wondered if anyone has experienced them eating bubble algae

My tuxedo urchin is the first I’ve had in my 18 month old tank, I haven’t had any bubble algae. I’ve never heard or read that they do. My previous 16 years of reefing I’ve had bubble algae that was resolved by adding an emerald crab. I do love my tuxedo urchin.

No I’ve had them in all my tanks and never had a problem and they are constantly eating algae off my rock. I don’t think they sleep, just eat, eat and eat! I have 2 in my 32 gallon. I’ve read females are preferred to males. You can google how to sex emerald crabs, it has to do with their undersides.
