How long would you recommend a beginner to wait before getting seahorses? I heard they are not for beginners...
My wife and I got into saltwater aquatics specifically to get dwarf seahorses. December will make us 2 years. We have been just a month away from getting them for over a year now but things continually happen. We learn something new or have an outbreak of something or another or just whatever. We are moving towards it though!! It would be my advice to at least have one year's experience with salt water aquatics before getting seahorses. That is coming from me, one who thought I could just jump right into it and do anything just as good if not better than everyone else. God bless you whatever you decide.

O my, someone should have warned me how addictive seahorses are! I can't stop watching them in their tank and when I am not watching them I am changing all my avatars to seahorses, and the screen savers on the computer. Of course to do that I need pics so I am taking lots of pics of them too. I just can't seem to help myself. 😄

Show off your seahorse pics here!
Hello old friend!! They are indeed an addiction and I still haven't gotten them yet!! I think about them everyday though..... The time will come. When the Lord feels it is right, that's when it'll happen. Not a moment before. Great speaking with you again and I am so glad to see that you and you aquariums are thriving and prospering!!

Great to hear from you! Wow, you have been so patient to work at it this long. I am sure that your perseverance will pay off in the long run.
My aquarium is doing pretty well but has a terrible case of cyanobacteria. I just need to be patient and let the tank stabilize, which it will eventually.
