What a beautiful tank Lucie. I love how you have used natural macros along with artificial decor to come up with a lovely colorful aquascape for your seahorses!

Update: I ended up having to remove the two pieces of branching coral. I had a super scary situation occur where Clyde hitched to the piece on the left and somehow got stuck and I mean wedged and stuck! I had to cut him out. Literally. This happened 3 days ago. Thankkfully I was home and he wasn't injured. Talk about my heart sinking!

Trying to think of what tank will be the best. I have a 25g fusion. And 2 90s im planning on making into a fish room, just not sure what tank would be tge best for a seahorse tank for her.

Also more water volume is helpful since seahorses put an extremely heavy bioload on their tank systems. A 25 gallon is really small for a pair of the greater seahorses although there are some that are smaller that if you were super diligent with husbandry and water changes you could probably make it work. I personally like more margin for error however.

It's finally looking up! I have added back coral I had from the previous set up as well as some new pieces I scored yesterday. Some are still acclimating to the new tank and not quite fully open. But, progress!

Thank you, Lucie!! Ridiculous! As in I can't stand the cuteness! Maybe one day I will venture to dwarfs. I have much to learn before then though. How many dwarfs do you have? I think I read it somewhere but I don't remember.

I collected these here in the Atlantic in New York. They are fairly common on the south side of Long Island.
Here the female is transferring the eggs to the male. I raised them to adult size.

tank and horse are super nice but you must protect pumps right away!!!

My horses have been in my tank for 2 years and I don't cover my pumps. The reason is I have 1 double pump on the very top of the tank that runs all day the other 2 only run at night.
