Seapora frag tank issue

I picked up 2 seapora 60 gallon frag tanks . There are 48x24x12 . One of the tanks is a little bit off . What I mean by off is where the bottom plastic trim with the center support has a high spot . I set the tank on a perfectly flat granite counter and it has about 32-16th inch wobble to it . I am not sure if it’s the silicon or what . I know the tanks were used in a store for a while, I am just not sure if it will hurt anything .

I can't see what you are seeing, but generally the tank that sits flat is what/how these things are designed to be installed. They sit flat on a stand and don't wobble.

The tank that has a high spot (in the plastic frame?), has an issue. How to resolve this, I can't see what you have to guess how to resolve the issue. It's probably fairly easy to fix....

A high spot in an aquarium will tend to focus force upon that spot when the tank is filled and could lead to a catastrophic failure. (These are not a problem if the tank is outside.)

A picture might help folks provide solutions for this one.

It’s hard to get a good picture of the issue . Because like I said it’s only about 32nd to 16th of an inche off . It like when they siliconed the bottom trim panel on they put to much silicon when the bottom center brace is . So far what I have considered doing was to take the bottom trim off check the bottom panel to make sure there is nothing off with it . Then clean all the silicon off and and reinstall it .

Come to think of it, if this has been set up before and wasn't a problem then perhaps it isn't that big of an issue?
I guess I was thinking maybe something go broken or adhered to the bottom after it was uninstalled when I first replied. Lots of people use foam boards or yoga mats or limilar under their tanks to cushion any imprefections.

I was always under the impression that if you have a plastic trim on the bottom don’t use foam or anything under it

I have seen it both ways. In your case, the shallow nature of the tank is a benefit as the shallow water column produces less pressure on the bottom rim than a deeper tank.
