Not sure if my photo is good enough but got lots of these showing up. Thought it was feather duster but not sure. Couldn't find an exact match, maybe I didn't look in the right places. Haven't added anything for 4 months or mire. Tank is 8 months old
Thanks in advance!

Yes what I thought of the fuzzy ones but their right out in the open, I thought pineapple like shade? Also there's 1 at the top to the left of the Whisker . It's got sort of hairs coming out the top so this one might be different?

Usually they do prefer shade, though the hairs are just a characteristic of pineapple sponge

They're relatively harmless, though keep an eye on them, they can cover/irritate coral if they grow too close (touching or growing on) though if that does happen just pluck them off. I've found they're only a problem if they actually grow onto the coral, branching corals seem to be the only ones they can irritate.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
