Not much happening to update about. Anenome just split, and two halves are moving around a little, but generally in the same spot. Made a purchase that made me cringe at first, but has saved a ton of time on sump cleaning/tank cleaning/water changes, the Reef Vacuum. Being an engineer, I always try to think of gadgets to make life easier and was working through something similar in my head, but saw it at our local reef show a month or so back, and seeing it already put together convinced me I should save the hassle of building and just buy it.

www.reefvacuum.com if you want the details. Goodbye shop vac.

So I came yesterday from work to realize that my clowns have laid eggs on the back glass. Rushing to setup up a fry tank as well as rotifer, phyto, and brine shrimp farm. Probably wont have much if any success at getting the fry from the display tank and have everything ready in time when they should hatch in the next 7 days +/-. But if they continue to lay eggs as most clowns do, hopefully will have everything established in time to try raising some captive bred clowns.

Been wanting to do phyto for a while as I want to add a clam to the tank, so this gives me reason to push forward.

Made a lighting upgrade over the weekend. Been dealing with parts of corals not geting enough light, so I figured adding T5's to the lighting would get me better coverage. Time will tell if it helps.
