My sebae [H. crispa] has been loose for 4-5weeks now. Started good and stayed at the sand/rock area for a couple weeks. Then up on the rock for another 3 weeks.
I was trying not to worry and giving it time to find another spot. [before crying wolf] But this has me stumped. It's color looks fine and no visible sign of cuts or damage on the foot.
Doesnt deflate till pooping. Then reinflate to normal size of about 10in across. The tank is a stable 75 with the same 4 fish. 2 B/W clowns 1 smallish yellow tang and 1 starry blenny.

Other than a lota super glue under its foot what else should I try. << Still a option if all else fails.

Can you post a pic of him.

A Sebae should have no issues nestling down into the sand on the edge of the reef or up in the rocks.

Here's where mine always liked to get.
