Hi I have two security cameras for both my tanks because I'm not home very often so I can at least look at it a little. But they're absolutely awful between the lights on the fish tank it's really difficult to see anything clearly, no matter how close I put the camera. is there some kind of film or something I can put over the security camera? Has anybody had this problem. Thanks

Yep....yellow or orange filter.

The problem is that RGB sensors cut at about 455nm. The dominant blue color on reef tanks is 450nm. Most security cams don't have enough smarts to handle the extreme chroma and slur brightness and color.

Smartphones are a bit better and dSLRs better yet due to having more bits to process at these extreme colors.
