Question: Does the light screw into the bracket? Would I be able to flip the direction the light faces? Reason I ask...I want to be able to hang this upside down from a cabinet shelf above

I haven't tried it but you should be able to flip the light around and have it point in a different direction since it just twists and screws into the arm. Might be a bit loose if you do that but it can if you need it to be done that way

I would just use brackets from Home Depot to hang under a cabinet, or some people use small TV mount brackets as well.
