what do i need to buy to setup a seneye on a nano AIO tank? seneye reef, wifi adaptor, power adaptor, magnetic holder, slide soaker, seneye cleaner, extra slides ? the list goes on ?

Or does the bundle come with just about everything ?

thanks.

I bought the seneye reef and a little mini PC thing from Amazon to host it. Saved some money that way. Pull all my data through the app & usb in into my laptop instead if I need to measure par.

I also got the mount thingy for in the water. Can't remember if that comes with or not.

hey can you please relay to me what your nh3 runs at, is it within the range of .001-.006~ ppm nh3 maximum or outside those ranges?

also can we see a pic of the nano it runs on @danieyella

reason why asking: every new seneye log upload is a testament to the inherent link in performance of post cycled reef tanks, regardless of volume. 99% of seneyes post in this range above, I like to look for outliers and then match that to unusual details seen in the full tank shot if any, such as extra large fish bioloads etc.

there are slide prep tricks and trimming options within the unit that can tune the device to run in spec if it isn't, by benchmarking it on a known cycled display reef, but mostly they're just good to go out of the box.

I had one recently in a thread that read .04 nh3 in a running reef tank as the benchmark (that's too high, needed trimming) but we also took the untrimmed seneye and moved it into a suspected complete bottle bac cycle tank in the same home and it read .04...which is perfect calibration for being cycled within that particular setting.

where can i find the slide prep “tricks” and what would be the best way to work out if the sud readings require trimming ? thanks

All I purchase with mine was the base unit, slide soaker, and extra slides. I am using a raspberry pi and virtual usb.

7th of August- ammonia started at 0.048 but have watched it drop and stay around 0.005-0.003

ph reading hasn’t really given me any reason to watch it, as i think it is pretty far off the correct reading. not sure what is going on.

The pH is often very low in a new tank that is cycling. You need to improve surface agitation to blow out co2.

The seneye uncalibrated is usually within 0.5 or so which is generally good enough.

I run one on my nano
