The moon can be quite bright on a reef most nights. Shouldn't be an issue. You could always remove it or tape over it if it's not in the water. Best of luckMy ATO is inside my display tank. It has a little blue sensor light. It illuminates a quarter of the tank at night is this light too bright for my clown fish and other fish to get a good nights rest?
It seems that the clown fish always follow the sensor light no matter where I put it like they are attracted to it.I've had one of those on one of my tanks for years, it bothers me a lot, but it doesn't bother the fish.
And yes, as mentioned above, clean it often.
The clowns seem to hang right under the sensor light at night. Even when I move it to the other side of the tankNot really. I used to have all sorts of other lights on, tank seemed fine
