Hey Reefers! I like to have separate sumps on all my tanks (5 tanks + 5 sumps). I like this because I can manage things that happen in one tank, and not the other. Also, it is easier for me to have different water parameters for different coral in each tank. So, what do you prefer? Do you have separate sumps, or do you tie all your tanks together? Please explain your thoughts as well. Happy Reefing!

Okay, this hardly counts but I have the sump on my main tank - and then three separate Red Sea Max Nano tanks. I suppose the rear compartment on them tanks technically counts as a sump? :D

I was toying with the idea of plumbing together my main display with a frag tank- mainly to increase my water volume. Decided I dind't have room for it.

I do run two FW tanks with independent sumps as well though..
