Separating rotifera from copepod culture

My copepod culture has been massively overrun with rotifers. What are my options if I wish to separate them if its even possible.
What seive sizes etc.

What species of copepods? I think that makes a big difference. Larger species like T. Califonicus would be easier compared to smaller species like Tisbe or Apocyclops as their nauplii are typically around 50-60 micron.

Even if you could separate them I think you will just keep running into same problem and you should just start the copepods cultures over and keep them away from copepod cultures to prevent future contamination.

Might be worth it to try as Tisbe are pretty resilient in my experience but I would still suggest starting a separate clean culture and you could just have two cultures.

Rotifers are so hard to get rid of. I got some in my Apex cultures and tried to filter them out, starve them out (Feeding the pods only solid foods). The problem is you only really need exactly 1 rotifer for the problem to start all over. I cleaned all my cultures out with bleach, let dry, and then vinegar rinses and let dry for a week and got new cultures from a reliable source and still ended up with the stupid things again lol. The next time I did the same process but left the containers and all supplies outside for nearly a month and haven't had a problem since.
