I was thinking of doing a DIY liverock and frag plug workshop.

Anyone interested?

sounds like fun!! you can also do a club frag plug buy. There would be a bunch of plugs made and people can buy in to save on the cost of materials and they recieve plugs

Thats a good idea! I was just going to use the left over stuff I have taking up space in my garage though :)

some of my best rocks and plugs came from old coral sand beds :) recycling at its finest.
i presume this meeting will be in eugene?

I haven't set a date in stone yet, kinda hoping for some feedback so we can get as many ppl as possible to make it.

So whats the consensus? Wanna makes some rocks!?!?!?!?!?! :xd: I have all the stuff but I need to go over to Willamette Greystone and pickup a bag of white silica sand.

Yea, I'm think it would be fun. maybe we could try some dry aqua-scape too. I would like to try the rod and block method at some point

This sounds cool, mind if my buddy and I come, I have about 150 pounds of caribsea reef floor special I was thinking about doing something like this with.

I might need to push this back a week. I will keep this thread updated and know more early next week.

I still need to pickup some sand for making the rocks. I have some acrylic rod we can use for making pillars and shapes, but I need some aquamend.
