Got a setosa that is bleaching, but the stylophora its close too is doing fine. Both are very close to the top where highest flow is and light. Just switched over to my SB Reef Light this week. Wonder why one sps is bleaching and not the other?

stylophora is a much hardier SPS coral then setosa. Did you acclimate your corals to the new light?

I have setosa at 3 different levels in my tank, the bottom piece is the darker red while the one at the top kind of turned into a faded pink so from my understanding they like medium light rather than high light. Try moving it to the sand bed for awhile and see what happens

Agree with Sobo... Setosa don't need a lot of light and will bleach easily when not acclimated slowly. Like most corals, they can handle high light but not too fast getting there. Agree with moving it down to heal up.;)

They had a Coralife T5 on them before I flipped the new light. Didnt think anything about acclimating first. Going to move the setosa down.
