I’ve relegated my Apex to a frag tank and added a Klir filter roller to that system. I have Apex programmed to run the Filter. I did the same system using the Hydros on my display tank and was able to set everything up within a few minutes, including the alarm that I can’t figure out how to get to work on Apex.
I could use some help getting this done assuming it’s possible on Apex.
This is the alarm I want and how I want it to work.
Using a virtual outlet; I want to set the outlet to switch on if the Klir doesn’t move for 23 hours.
This is what I’ve tried:
The name of the virtual outlet is - “Klir_Alrm”
The name of the outlet that controls the “Klir is Klir-8”
Here is the programming I’ve tried using on the “Klir_Alrm” V/O
SET OFF
IF OUTLET Klir-8 OFF THEN ON
DEFER 1380:00 THEN ON
What happens is I save the programming, Apex saves it.
But… in reality Apex saves this:
DEFER 287:44 THEN ON and Apex turns the V/O on
My assumption is Apex won’t take that much time in the Defer statement. I have no idea why Apex converts the time to what it does and turns on the V/O, nor why Apex saves the programming without giving you any sort of message. Maybe it’s the dated interface Apex uses, I don’t know. But it’s really frustrating.
I’m at a loss as to how to make this work on Apex or if it’s even possible.
Thanks for your help
