Updated pic from Christmas Day. 60 day mark of being installed. Haven’t done a water change yet!

Looks good. BTW did you add a third light in the center since the first picture? If so, good move.

Yes I did add a third light! Thanks.

That’s awesome! Looks great!!! Since you haven’t done a water change may I ask what you are dosing or doing to not do water changes? Are you using any certain methods like API essentials, Triton, etc? Or are you planning to eventually do water changes?
I have been using bio digest and remediation. But such a large quantity of water parameters stay very consistent.

Bigger is always better.

Great black n white shot of the aquarium!

Dave...it's getting there! The water got a little cloudy again adding the dr. Tims. 48 mark of that's will be 9:30 tonight so I will be putting the filter sock back in and I assume that'll help start cleaning it up again.

Love your rockscape!

Possibly a algae bloom. My 240 did it about 3 months in. My sailfin tang was happy as all get out with it and I looked and the 4 days of the gha as free food for him/her lol.

Water is cleared up and things are really coming along nicely!! Not bad for 111 days in!

Everything is cleared up now. How about yours?

I was 100% free till I trusted the wife to feed while I was on a 2 week work trip. She didn’t realize how big of liars my fish are so she feed 3-4 times a day and my PO4 skyrocketed so I have a slight GHA issue again, but my sailfin is working hard on his free food again lol. Note to self no longer trust the wife with feeding duty’s lol

LOL right. My po4 is in the 0.25-0.35 range down from 0.87 but still have room to drop. My macroalgea in fuge is helping and trying to continue dropping them.

I’ve struggled keeping mine around .25 and my Cheato has done good as long as I stay on top of harvisting it. When I got home my PO4 was 1.5 and I’m having to harvest it every other day now. I put a baseball size in and pull a small basketball out in 48-72 hours lol normally a baseball size takes 2 weeks or so to do that in my tank.

Do you have problems with diatoms on your sand. That really the only thing annoying me.

No as my Diamond Goby, & 4 Chonch’s keep it clean. That dang Goby will be rehomed if I can every catch him. He moved the substrate around so much the lower half of my tank always has sand on everything. Lol
