Just picked up a used Korallin C1502 with all of the fixings. I'm wondering if anyone has some sage advice for setting it up right. It does not have a pH monitor associated with it.
Thanks,
Tom

Tom the best directions I have ever found are at www.geosreef.com in the reactor section. I would highly recommend a pH controller or adding a pH probe to a ReefKeeper or other controller if you have one. It makes things much easier and more stable.
I have the same reactor. It's very efficient and easy to run.
Like AZ said, ph controller will help.
What regulator are you going to run?
Also what media?
What size tank and what is it stocked with.
I am running a 75 also.
Arm course is great media, I use it in mine. I am also using an apex lite to control mine.
For ease of control, look into a plants and aquariums regulator.
Do you know what your current alk usage is per day?
I use an irrigation micro valve on my korallin for the effluent. Also have the vent barely open for a slight drip.
Your alk dosage is close to what mine was when I used brs 2 part. I was 60ml a day.
My advice is to read up on cole parmer pumps. This is the only method I have used to keep effluent constant. If you can not keep the effluent rate the same you can not get reactor dialed in for stable alk. It is worth the added expense for this feed pump.
