Welcome to Reef2Reef!!!

Thanks! It’s been a long time, but it will be worth the wait…

Thanks for your reply! I have a lot to learn, but that’s what makes it fun! Back when I still had hair, my saltwater tanks included a Snowflake eel, a Clown Trigger, an Octopus, a mated pair of Hawaiian Flame Lobsters and a miscellaneous assortment of others…

Welcome to R2R and back to the obsession

Too funny! I’m looking at increasing the tank to 14’ long, by 30” high and 30” width. I have 17’ to play with, so who knows! Cheers!

Welcome to R2R!

Thanks for your reply! It’s been a long time coming, but I can’t wait to get stuck in with the minutiae of setting up my tank. I plan to have it fully automated (all systems) as well, no more hauling buckets of water for this cheeky bloke! Cheers!

Welcome to R2R and back to the salty world.

Thanks so much! Cheers!

Welcome!!!

Thanks, I’m looking forward to learning from the collective wisdom and experience of the group. Cheers!

Welcome to R2R and back into the hobby.

Thanks, I did not want to give up my hobby back in the day, but I was working 16 - 18 hours a day, seven days a week away from home - so no time or way to keep them up.

Welcome to R2R and back to the hobby! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Thanks for your reply! Cheers!

[Awesome458]

Welcome back! We also returned to the hobby after 30 years and really enjoy it. Didn’t go quite as big as you though! Looking forward to your build thread!

Thanks for your comments. I have a 17’ long wall to work with, so the tank may end up even bigger… Cheers!

[Awesome458]

sounds amazing!

Thanks, it’s a good time to get my tank going, as we are totally remodelling our home and it will be easier to add any necessary convenience/automation items for the tank.
Cheers!

Welcome back to the hobby!

Thanks, although I’ve been out of this for 40 years, I never forgot about it… It was always in the back of my mind! Cheers!

[Awesome458]

Thanks for your reply! My favourite Vette was the C2, then the Stingray… I’m into Italian cars now, but Corvettes rock! Cheers!

[Awesome458]

Thanks! Hopefully I do not ask too many questions! Cheers!

[Awesome458]

Hello, welcome to R2R :)

That is going to be a awesome system when you get it set up.

Thanks for your reply! I always wanted a monster tank when I was into this back in the day… Cheers!
