I settled on 18hrs light, just to give it a break. No idea if that is beneficial or not.

12-18 hrs a day, and half the ats lights off or half covered for the first month or so.
IE, slow, wait for growth, and then you can kinda do whatever you want. It just takes 4-8 weeks to get it seeded and growning properly.
