Got my Apex updated and looking to setup my pumps and lights. I have a Jebao Sw2 wave pump and jebao dcs-2000 return pump on my Nano. I have the supporting Apex cable coming in the mail and want to get these 2 set up and ready in Fusion. I would like to set up the sw2 in wave mode again using fusion (stock control is on it last leg) And return pump I'd like to be able to control output on. Just not sure if I need to use the variable speed outlet on the eb8 or if any outlet will work. Since I'd like to put my dual channel light on one it's not clear to me if I can just use regular outlet for this or not.

My light is a black boc dual channel. I'll be using the dual variable speed wire for it as well.

I had thought about using a dual outlet mini surge protector for each of these to save space on the eb8 it that's possible. Just not sure how the variable speed outlets and the V1/V2 and V3/V4 work together

I believe I've figured it out. Doesn't look like the 2 need to work together. Power source can be anything and controlled from variable speed ports? I imagine I'll have to use the eb8 outlets as the variable speed ports can't go below 10% on my lights? This sound about right? Pumps pretty much the same I'm assuming?

I did get the Apex installed though! Was a long night trying to learn the controls then digging through some scraps in the garage to cobble something up. Still need a block surge strip. Wires have been cleaned up since the picture. All in all I'm liking it now
