Settings on frag tank light?

Hey guys, I have a aqualife 4bulb t5 & 2 150w halide fixture and I want to know how long to run each. I will be growing out high end zoas in my new 40 drilled breeder. I also have 8 or 9 acros I will be growing out also. How long do I keep t5 on and halide? There is a timer

That honestly seems like a little to much light IMO. It really depends on how high you hang it. You can run the t5s for id say 8-10 hours a day, I would only run the halides for a couple hours.

I was thinking of running mh 3hrs a day and t5 6 or so. Is that a good starting point?

yes, just remember this , your corals will let you know if they need more or less but you seem to be off to a good start...
