Hi all, I wasn’t sure quite where to post this scenario.
I have a two gallon macroalgae aquarium, fully cycled and running with algae and inverts for about 60 days at this point.
The inverts I have are two small snails I can’t remember the names of, two strawberry crabs, and two sexy shrimp.
Last night, I did a half gallon water change and dosed AB+ coral food bcuz I was told it could help the macroalgae growth.
This morning, my sexy shrimp are dead and lowkey tinted green… which is the color of the AB+.
Is it possible to overdose the AB+? I was under the impression it was not, but given this tank is barely two gallons, I guess I wouldn’t be surprised if i overdosed it.
Below are images and parameters I am able to test at home.
Ammonia: 0
Phosphate: 0.25
Salinity: 1.020 which was raised to 1.023 after testing, and this afternoon I will raise it again to 1.025.
