Sunday night I was preformaing a water change, when my little carpenter wrasse wanted to check out what I was doing. He swam to close to the hose and was caught for a split second in the tube. There is a mark on it. He ate yesterday and swimming around.
My little wrasse was out and about eating last night. He also came out when I was fixing some frags that my seahare plowed over. Curiosity killed the cat in my case it very well maybe the wrasse. It's always swimming around my hands when they are in the tank.
My yellow clown did that as well. Scared the crap out of me. I think they where try to imitate finding nemo.I'm glad the wrasse is doing ok!! I sucked up my green clown goby once doing a WC! It freaked me out. It got in the siphon because I could even react. He went all the way down the tube and into my 5-gallon jug. He just sat there and looked at me like "why the heck did you do that?!" When I put him back in the tank, he disappeared for days, but he's fine now. When I do a WC now, I first get a visual on the little rascal and then I angle my siphon in the corner, usually over the mag float. I don't know what I would have done if he had gotten stuck in the tube, but thankfully he went all the way through it! I hope the wrasse continues to do well!
Its amazing a beating a little fish can take and come out ok on the other sidegood too hear!!
