wrasse is in the sand bed. Now I worry till I see it eat and out and about.

I had to sump mine. He got beat up and is very stressed

:( thats horrible. I hope he makes a quick recovery. He's the only wrasse in the tank. Nothing else in the tank aggressive.

so earlier the wrasse was out just resting on the sand bed. It makes me nervous. The lady at the lfs was looking under rocks and was not careful with the placement of tbe rocks. I was trying to tell her it was a sand dweller. She start digging in the sand and flipping rocks.

They are always a little weird the first week in a new tank. Don’t be to upset if you don’t see it at all tomorrow or the next day. But yea generally if they look healthy when you get them, plump, they are pretty resilient.

It was. I was anticipating not to see it for a few days. Thats how my Mel was.

Thanks for mentioning that. My Mel was weird for a day or two. It hid behind a hob filter. Different tank.

Sounds about right. I have a good feeling, the bag pic you showed looked to be a very healthy fish.

Ramp up starts at 800 - full starts at 1330. T5 pop on at 1445. T5 off at 2200 and led ramp down at 2100 off at 2230.

My Melanurus’s never went in hiding. I thought they would but nope. Both caused problems. Love them but they don’t like my tank

I just saw my new emerald crabs doing acrobatics on my Tonga branches, it was amazing! These guys are nuts!
