Ok y’all…. I played with my BioCube to ease myself back into Reef keeping…. But now it’s time to start a real project.

I am in the 3d printing industry and have a full manufacturing shop I use for my Battlebots projects (including laser cutters for acrylic) so we might get a bit creative on this build

The Tank. 58g Oceanic Cichlid tank (drilled but plugged)

This is our humble beginning

Well, a bit humbler maybe… but the kids made sure it got fish

It will be sitting in the same spot the BioCube was…. Ever try and move a full 32g tank? That’s as far as it’s going with water still in it.

The crew will get a front row seat to watch their new home get built.

Started cleaning her up

The bulkheads were plugged and siliconed.
Why use a reasonable amount of silicon when you can use the entire tube?
