Hey everyone,

Just sharing my tank, although it is a bit late to start a build thread. I built this tank around keeping easy but beautiful soft corals. I have really been enjoying watching the corals grow, and it's a nice change of pace when compared to an Acropora dominated tank. Initially the display had a rockscape, but I removed it to allow for the corals to grow larger. I look forward to sharing how the tank progresses.

Tank: 21”x21”x12” Miracles Glass (roughly 20g)
Overflow: XAqua inout
Sump: Trigger System Ruby 20C
Skimmer: Reef Octopus 150int
Return: Sicce 2.0
Doser: RedSea Reef Dose 2; ESV B-Ionic
Wave makers: 2 MP10QD
Lighting: Aquatic life DX18 hybrid with G5 XR30 Blue. 4 ATI Blue+
ATO: XP aqua duetto
Heater: Eheim 200w
13W UV Sterilizer
Custom steel stand

@Acroporaguy lol the irony. what stereonepthea is that. Also like the Palau in the corner.
Haha yeah my name doesn't really match the build! I used to keep an Acro tank, but once the corals started growing out of the water, I took it down and wanted to try something a bit easier to manage.

The Stereonepthea came from Reef Raft here in Canada. It was sold as a 'japanese blue nepthea', but under daylight it's pink. Yeah the Palau is an absolute classic, the colony I got my piece from has been in captivity for well over 20 yrs!

I think it’s the Koji wada from what ur describing. One of my fav soft coral species stereonepthea have a few from Pablo marine farmers. My old Palau before it crashed saved few and donated to friends for safe keeping.

Yeah it could very well be a renamed koji. Beautiful colony! Pretty much all of my reefer friends also have a frag of Palau. It's a great idea to share coral to ensure they remain in the hobby.
