Let's see if we can't fill this thread with pictures of stands and canopies to inspire each other and new hobbyists for future builds.

Also maybe an explanation at what you were trying to accomplish with the design.

Here's my canopy I just finished for my half circle. I just finished making the doors for it.

Frenchie87, that looks great!

Greg, looks great, too. The side access on the stand is a nice touch, too!

Here's the stand/canopy for my 180g and frag tank, complete with faux drawers that reveal a table for fragging, eating, or just resting my elbows....

that right there is one of best looking cabinet/canopy setups I've seen!

Is this DIY by yourself or did you have it built?
Thanks! I built it myself... once of my three hobbies. Reef keeping, carpentry, and beer brewing! 1smile1

Amazing work. I LOVE the mini frag tank stand next to it, I've been wanting to do something similar when i have the space. Plumbed together?

Still in progress, took a page from Swannyson7 and flush mounted the DJStrip. I think I'll steal the RK idea as well. No canopy, hanging MH pendants and 2xt5ho's.

I borrowed the end-door idea from reefers on R2R as well.

That is a beautiful stand and tank! I'm also getting into the hobby of carpentry. Little behold, it's even more expensive than reefing. lol

Perfect timing, building my stand this weekend...hopefully

Great stand/canopies!!!
I really like side cabinet idea so I can hide ATO res., CaRx, CO2, and misc power controls and electronics
