Love the colours. Are you running them at high intensity as in the dials turned right up as I assume the tank is a 2ft cube?
Dialed at 100% full spectrum 3hours peak and 5 hours of all blues. All scheduled via timerand yes you got the measurements right.

Looks great. Love the coral on coral look. How long have you been reefing? What kind of filtration are you running under the hood?

I can neither confirm or deny that I started SW tanks since I was 15 years old well you have to guess my age right. I must say that what matters is the result that I'm having right now on my tank. As for my filtration it's just an open sump. It has no baffles, refer to this link to see my sump setup

I see do you run 100% white and 100% blue for 3 hours an just blues at 100% for 5? How high off the tank are your lights they put out alot of par at the bottom of a 2ft tank dont they. Also 8 hours is quite short photo period. I run 3 hrs just blue at 40% then with whites at 5% for 5 then just blues again for 1.5 hours

Yes 100% White 100% Blues for 3 hours. Then 5hours 100%Blues until the lights turn off. Dialing it down until lights off is a bit of task for me so I just stick with 100% Blues. This photoperiod works for me though. So I'm sticking to it.

Fair play, I would like to know what sort of par just blues put out from these black boxes.

So. You started when you were 15. And now you are able to get results like that. Gimme a second, I'm doing the math.... That would make you 147 right? Amazing tank!! Welcome to R2R!
